I have been informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the amount received from the Department of Posts and Telegraphs in respect of income tax collected from employees of the Department for the period 1st April, 1975, to 31st December, 1975, was £4,700,000 and in respect of PAYE for the nine income tax months ended 5th January, 1977, £9,229,000.
