It is expected that work will commence in 1977 on the erection of new schools at Scartaglin and Ranalough (Killeentiarna) and on the extension and improvement of Dingle Christian Brothers and Drumclough (Listowel) national schools. In addition, smaller schemes of improvement are proposed at a number of schools. Contracts for new schools and for major improvement and extension schemes are in progress at 11 centres.
