asked the Taoiseach the number of springs, leaf and coil, imported fully assembled in 1974, 1975 and 1976 respectively; and the number of unassembled component leaves imported in the same years.

Information relating to numbers of springs imported is not available. However information on the net weights and c.i.f. value is available and is shown in the following table for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976, classified according to the descriptions in the Customs and Excise Tariff of Ireland.
