andMr. Keaveney asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht if he will give details of the proposal he has for the improvement of the pier, slip and landing facilities at Meevagh, Rosguill, County Donegal.

I am considering a proposal to provide a slip, winch, boatyard and approach road there so that boats up to 35 feet could be removed from the water and stored.

andMr. Keaveney asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht the proposals he has for the improvement of Curransport pier, Gweedore, County Donegal.

I sanctioned a grant in 1973 to widen the slip and provide storage space for boats there but I was given to understand that the fishermen were not satisfied with those facilities. Should the fishermen now be satisfied with them I would sympathetically reconsider the proposals with a view to sanctioning a grant to meet the increased costs.
