Vol. 297 No. 6

Written Answers. - Offaly Estate.

32.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the present position regarding the estate of Terence Molloy (details supplied), County Offaly; if the application to the courts indicated in the letter from the Land Commission to Deputy Lalor on 29th October, 1976, was ever made; and, if so, why the Land Commission failed to reply to Deputy Lalor's letter on the subject of 7th December, 1976, despite their acknowledgment of 16th December, 1976, which promised a reply.

The issue of a reply to the Deputy was deferred pending the outcome of an application which was made on 7th February, 1977, to the High Court to reconstitute the proceedings in this matter. The application was adjourned and will come again before the court on 7th March. The Land Commission will inform the Deputy of the outcome when the court's decision is known.
