Vol. 297 No. 7

Written Answers. - Aerial Maps.

50.

asked the Minister for Finance when aerial maps of Wicklow and Arklow towns will be compiled by the Ordnance Survey office; and when they will be available to the public.

Aerial photographs are used in the preparation and compilation of some Ordnance Survey publications. Aerial maps (photo maps) as such are not published by the Ordnance Survey. The current remapping programme, which does not include either Wicklow or Arklow, will occupy fully the resources of the Ordnance Survey for a number of years to come.
