asked the Minister for Social Welfare when an old age pensioner (name supplied) in County Dublin will be given an oral hearing which was promised to him.

The person concerned will be given an oral hearing of his old age pension appeal on Wednesday, 23rd March, 1977. He will be notified shortly of the time and place of the hearing.

24.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when a decision will be reached regarding the application for unemployment assistance by a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

The person concerned applied for a qualification certificate, which is a necessary requirement for entitlement to unemployment assistance, on 19th January, 1977. Following investigation of his circumstances a qualification certificate has now been issued to him and arrangements have been made to have all arrears of unemployment assistance due paid to him during the current week. Further payments will continue as they fall due.
