Vol. 297 No. 9

Written Answers. - Meath Forest Caretaker.

25.

asked the Minister for Fisheries if he is aware that a person (name supplied) in County Meath was appointed caretaker of a forest of 100 acres in 1962 at the rate of £10 per year, that the forest now consists of 500 acres and that he is getting only £25 per year; and if, in view of the fact that he put out four fires last year, he will consider granting an increase in this man's pay.

This caretaker's remuneration is under review in the light of the increased acreage of his caretakership.
