Vol. 298 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Wicklow Improvement Scheme.

109.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the large backlog of applications on hand for local improvement schemes in County Wicklow; and whether he will substantially increase the level of grant from his Department to Wicklow County Council.

According to returns made to my Department, Wicklow County Council had 45 applications on hand awaiting attention at 30th September last against 60 at 30th September, 1975. I have already indicated in reply to previous questions that the full provision for the local improvements scheme in 1977 has been allocated to county councils.
