Vol. 299 No. 1

Written Answers. - Mayo School.

56.

asked the Minister for Education the grants that have been made available for improvements to Carrowkennedy national school, County Mayo; and when work is likely to commence.

It is not the practice to disclose arrangements made as to the amount of State grant and local contribution in connection with individual school building projects.

Arrangements for commencement of the work are made by the Commissioners of Public Works in consultation with the chairman of the board of management—as representing the patron of the school.

It is not possible to say at this stage when the work is likely to commence.
