asked the Minister for Fisheries if he will furnish particulars of the number employed in forestry and their hourly bonus rates and basic hourly rates on 4th March, 1977.

The number of men employed by the Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department in the week ended 4th March, 1977, was 2,497. The hourly basic rates of pay of forest workers were as follows:—

The hourly bonus rate, at 100 per cent productivity, was 23 pence.
