Contract documents for this scheme were submitted to my Department on 29th September, 1977, and are being examined.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction stage 2 of the Rhode water scheme to Edenderry, County Offaly.
Preliminary proposals for stage 3 of the Rhode water supply scheme were received in my Department on 30th September, 1977, and are being examined. It is this stage of the scheme which will augment the Edenderry town supply. Stage 2 is already under construction.
