All food businesses as defined in the food hygiene regulations, including manufacturing, preparation and pre-packaging businesses, must comply with the requirements of these regulations. The Deputy will be aware that I launched a national hygiene campaign on 28th November and I have sent him a copy of the speech I made on that occasion. Implementation of the measures set out in that speech is already under way.
