RTE advise that reception in the area mentioned is less than satisfactory. The area is served by Mullaghanish transmitting station which is in the course of being renewed. RTE except that better reception will be available when the renewal work is completed towards the end of 1978. However, the extent of the improvement and the areas which will benefit cannot be determined with accuracy until the work has been completed.
