Vol. 302 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tipperary Village Lighting.

224.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware that there is no public lighting in the village of Horse and Jockey, County Tipperary, on the main national primary road; and if he has any proposals to remedy the situation.

There are no proposals before my Department for the provision of public lighting at this location. It is a matter for Tipperary (North Riding) County Council, in the first instance, to formulate proposals of this nature having regard to their priority within the council's overall road works programme.
