asked the Taoiseach if he will provide estimates for the total numbers currently unemployed in the following age groups: (a) 19 and under, (b) 20 to 25 and (c) 25 to 30.

The only comprehensive source of information on unemployed persons according to age groups is the series of Labour Force Surveys. The following table shows estimates from the 1975 Survey, of the numbers of unemployed persons (including those seeking regular work for the first time) in the required age groups in May of that year.
