Proceedings were instituted by the Land Commission in 1974 for the compulsory acquisition of the County Roscommon portion of the property referred to. I understand, however, that proceedings have been held up by certain difficulties relating to title which have yet to be resolved.
There are no proceedings for the acquisition of the County Sligo lands but inquiries are being made in the matter.
