asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have the remainder of a new house grant paid to a person (name and details supplied) in County Cork.

Notification of completion of the house had been awaited from the person named. The file has now been referred for final inspection with a view to payment of the balance of the new house grant (£120).

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have an application from County Cork (details supplied) for a new house grant sanctioned.

A new house grant of £325 was allocated to the person named on 14 March 1978. Her eligibility for the special rate is being examined. An inspection is being arranged with a view to payment of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have an application for a new house grant submitted by a person (details supplied) in County Cork, in October 1976 processed.

There is no record in my Department of an application for a new house grant by the person named. However, Cork council received an application for a supplementary grant in June 1977. An application form for a State grant has been sent to the person mentioned.

The special rate of new house grant (£400) has been paid in three instalments to the person named —£170 on 10 December 1975, £155 on 27 January 1977 and £75 on 6 March 1978.
