It is not open to me at this stage to take any action in relation to the problems outlined in the report referred to by the Deputy. In accordance with the Restrictive Practices Act, 1972, the report in question has been submitted by the Examiner of Restrictive Practices to the Restrictive Practices Commission with a request that the commission hold an inquiry under the Act. The commission have published notice of their intention to hold an inquiry and have invited submissions from interested parties. Following their inquiry the commission will furnish me with their report, including recommendations, in the matter.
