asked the Minster for Education the present position regarding the already approved extension to Caherconlish national school, County Limerick; and when work is likely to commence.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that tenders have been invited and that they hope to be in a position to place a contract shortly.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the new national school at Caherline, County Limerick; and when work is likely to commence.

Sketch plans have been prepared and a grant towards the cost of the new school will be sanctioned when title to the site has been furnished. I am not in a position to say when work is likely to commence.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed extension to Murroe national school, County Limerick; and when work will commence.

A site extension will be required for the proposed scheme at this school, and the reverend chairman of the board of management has been asked if such extension can be provided. I am not in a position to say when work may commence.
