Vol. 306 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dublin Employment Exchanges.

112.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare why his Department maintain, in the Dublin area, separate employment exchanges for women and men, having regard to the need and obligation to remove all discrimination in employment matters on the grounds of sex; if he proposes to terminate such discrimination; and, if not, why.

The provision of separate employment exchange premises for women and men in the Dublin area, which is of long standing, is not regarded as involving discrimination in employment matters on the grounds of sex.
