asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will request the Land Commission to take the necessary steps to acquire the Leamy estate at Borrisfarney, Moneygall, County Offaly, for division amongst the small-holders in the area.

I understand the Land Commission are having the property referred to inspected with a view to determining whether acquisition proceedings should be instituted.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Land Commission will consider acquiring the Delia Tully farm, Pollaniyster, Williamstown, County Galway, for the purpose of relieving congestion in that area.

I understand the Land Commission have recently carried out an inspection of the property referred to with a view to determining whether acquisition proceedings should be instituted.
