: I am at present examining the whole question of advice, information and education for customers. Within the next few weeks I expect to receive the report of the Consumer Education Committee on how best consumer education and information might be advanced at all levels. I shall then consider this report and related proposals including those of the National Consumer Advisory Council with a view to deciding how best to arrange for the provision of information on consumer matters.
