asked the Taoiseach the number of farm tractors on farms and the number of power-driven machines on farms, grouped in the principal categories in the Agricultural Statistics.

: The most recent information available concerning the number of various types of agricultural machines and implements on holdings is that collected in the June 1975 Census of Agriculture and is given for the State in the following table.

The corresponding data for each county were published in the September 1977 issue of the Irish Statistical Bulletin (pages 224 and 225).
