: The person referred to in the question was not an employee of the Western Health Board. My information is that he is a private taxi driver with whom the board had a contract to provide patient transport. The arrangement or contract which existed between the board and the person concerned has, I understand, been terminated. The manner in which this was done is a matter for the board concerned.
