: The Garda authorities have informed me that, due to pressing demands for increased Garda strength in other areas, it has not been possible to increase the strength in Tinahely or Shillelagh.
It is intended to allocate a sergeant to each of these stations as soon as additional sergeants become available for assignment, but it is likely to be some months before assignment will be made to centres such as Tinahely and Shillelagh.
