: I refer the Deputy to the statement issued by the IDA on 26 June which indicated that negotiations on the project in question reached an advanced stage but that after a very careful assessment of the project as presented the IDA had decided not to support it. In my statement of 6 June I said that negotiations were at a delicate stage at that time.
The IDA, as mentioned in their recent statement, are continuing their all-out efforts to find a suitable replacement industry for the Ferenka factory and are negotiating on another project which they consider more suitable for the factory.
