Vol. 308 No. 9

Written Answers. - County Cork OPW Employee.

461.

asked the Minister for Finance if a certain person (details supplied) in County Cork, was employed by the Office of Public Works at Castletownbere, County Cork, until 1977; and if this person's social security cards were returned to him on termination of employment; and, if not, when the cards will be returned.

The person named in the question was employed by the Office of Public Works at Castletownbere Harbour up to and including 8 June 1977 when he terminated his employment.

Due to an oversight his social welfare insurance cards were not returned to him on termination of his employment. His 1977 cards were, however, returned to the Employment Exchange, Gardiner Street, Dublin, in January 1978 and his 1978 cards were forwarded to him on 16 May 1978.
