An Bord Pleanála have not been issued with any general policy directives under section 6 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1976, and I have no proposals at present to issue any such directive. If any such directives are given to the board they will be laid before each House of the Oireachtas and published in Iris Oifigiúil as is required by the Act.
