Vol. 309 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mallow (County Cork) Mail Collection.

28.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware that mail is now collected at the mail box at Old Chapel Cross, Kilcorney, Mallow, County Cork, in the forenoon instead of 6.30 p.m.; that no notice was given of this change and no notice of collection time as shown on the box; and if he will now arrange to have mail collected at 6.30 p.m., as there was always a heavy mail collection at this centre.

The collection since 31 October is being made at 6 p.m. following a recent review. It is regretted that, due to an oversight, notice of the forenoon collection had not been shown on the letter-box.
