The following are the amounts paid by County Donegal Vocational Education Committee in the area of student support in 1976, 1977 and 1978: 1976, £35,032; 1977, £49,658; 1978 (to-date), £69,278.
The figures include assistance by way of scholarships (VEC Scholarship Scheme) and assistance by way of grant in respect of courses receiving financial support from the European Social Fund (EEC Training Grants).
