As I stated in my reply on 19 April 1978 to a similar question put down by the Deputy, my Department have requested an engineering report from the Office of Public Works on Union Hall pier. I cannot say what improvements if any will be carried out at this pier with the aid of a State grant until the engineering report has been received and examined in my Department.
