Vol. 310 No. 7

Written Answers. - Navan Handicapped Children's School.

256.

asked the Minister for Education (a) the date on which the Commissioners of Public Works furnished the report and recommendations to his Department about the accommodation which had been provided at St. Mary's School for the mildly mentally handicapped children at Athlumney, Navan, County Meath; the date on which it is proposed to make a payment to the school on foot of the recommendations; and the amount it is proposed to pay.

The date in question is 29 November 1978. Arrangements are in hand for the payment of a grant as soon as possible subject to the usual local contribution. It is not the practice to disclose the amount of the grant in individual cases.
