The Forest and Wildlife Service of my Department are examining the possibility of acquiring some 200 acres of Narraghmore Bog. Inquiries are at a preliminary stage and are likely to be protracted because of turbary rights and problems of fee simple ownership.
Should it be decided to acquire the lands they would be used for forestry.
