asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the location of the additional telephone cabling planned for Dunboyne, County Meath; the number of telephone applications held up for lack of this cabling; and when the cabling will be completed.

The underground cabling schemes planned are on the main Dublin road as far as Clonee, on the Sheaf of Wheat and Navan roads as far as the junction of Trim road, and on the Maynooth and Summerhill roads. There are 85 applicants affected. It is expected that the cabling work will be completed by the end of next year.
