Government Appointment.

A Cheann Comhairle, I beg leave to state, for the information of the Dáil, that, on 19 December 1978 the Government appointed Deputy David Andrews, Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs, to the additional office of Minister of State at the Department of Justice with effect from 1 January 1979.

With what responsibilities?

They will be related largely to the legal side of the work of the Department of Justice.
