I was in communication with the Irish Wheelchair Association in August 1977 about a proposed meeting but, because of an unusally heavy list of commitments, I was unable to meet them at that time.
I will be writing to the association shortly dealing with the various points which have been raised and inviting them to meet with senior officers of my Department for further discussions on the policy issues involved.
