asked the Minister for Education if in view of the fact that new plans were submitted and a site passed, he would indicate the reasons for the delay in sanctioning the plans for Cockhill National School, Buncrana, County Donegal; and if he would now treat the matter as one of urgency.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that revised sketch-plans for the new national school at Cockhill have not yet been received by them from the school architect.

asked the Minister for Education to state the up-to-date position concerning the provision of extra classrooms for Rathmullen national school, County Donegal, and in view of his undertaking on 6 December 1978 in reply to my parliamentary question would he give a report of progress since that date.

A grant has been sanctioned towards the cost of providing additional accommodation at Rathmullen National School.

The Commissioners of Public Works will undertake the further arrangements leading to the placing of a contract for the work.
