asked the Minister for the Environment the number of intinerant families on corporation and other sites; and the number of itinerant families rehoused by the corporation and Dublin County Council in the past year.

The position at 31 October 1978 was that 68 families were in standard housing, 120 were living on serviced sites and 198 were living on other mainly unserviced sites in the Dublin area which embraces the city, County and Dún Laoghaire.

The number of families rehoused in the year ended 31 December 1978 in the Dublin area was six.
