This application, under the former scheme of new house grants, is subject to an income/valuation qualification. My Department are awaiting the necessary certificate from the local authority in this regard. The applicant has already been informed that he is not eligible for the £1,000 new house grant as the house was commenced prior to 27 May 1977.
