Vol. 314 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dunmore (Galway) National School.

34.

asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the principal teacher of Dunmore boys and girls national school is due to retire at the end of the current school year and if he would ensure that eight teachers are maintained at this school.

I am aware that the teacher concerned is due to retire at the end of the current school year.

Appointments to the staff of the school are a matter, in the first instance, for the board of management, subject to the Rules for National Schools.
