In accordance with the provisions of section 6 of the Local Government (Roads and Motorways) Act, 1974, a public local inquiry was held in November 1978, into the Naas By-Pass Motorway Scheme, 1978, made by Kildare County Council. The present position is that I am considering the report of the inspector who held that inquiry and I hope to be able to issue a decision on that in the near future.
