Vol. 314 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dundrum (Dublin) By-Pass.

287.

asked the Minister for the Environment the details of costing and time-tabling the projected Dundrum by-pass in the Government's £1,000 million road plan.

I have made provision in the Road Development Plan for a relief road in Dundrum. As the implementation of the project is dependent on the state of preparedness by Dublin County Council in regard to planning, land acquisition and so on and the Government's overall assessment of the priority ratings which should be given in any year to the competing demands for public funds, I am not in a position to give the detailed information requested by the Deputy.
