Vol. 315 No. 2

Written Answers. - Deserted Wife's Allowance.

50.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if a deserted wife's allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

In response to representations made by the Deputy in November 1978 a claim form for deserted wife's allowance was forwarded to the person concerned. On investigation it was ascertained that her husband had resumed living with her in December 1978.

In the circumstances the claim for deserted wife's allowance was not pursued.
