asked the Minister for the Environment the present proposals awaiting sanction from Meath County Council in relation to housing, water, sewerage and road schemes, the dates these were received, their purpose and when it is expected sanction will be given.

The information requested is as follows:

1. Housing Schemes:

There are no proposals from Meath County Council in relation to housing schemes awaiting sanction in my Department.

2. Water and Sewerage Schemes:

Purpose

1. East Meath water supply scheme (Stage 4).

14 September 1978

To improve the supply in that area of County Meath near Drogheda and in Gormanstown and Stamullen.

2. Summerhill sewerage scheme.

31 January 1977

To provide a sewerage scheme for Summerhill.

3. Oldcastle/Kells water supply scheme (Stage 1).

3 July 1978

To augment the water supply to Kells.

4. Kells sewerage scheme.

14 October 1978

To provide a new sewage treatment works and sewers.

I cannot say when I will be in a position to convey a decision to the local authority on these schemes.

3. Road Schemes:

There are no proposals from Meath County Council in relation to road schemes awaiting sanction in my Department.
