The Government have indicated to the parties concerned that they will agree to implement the revised proposals of 26 June 1979, for a national pay policy when these proposals have been ratified by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and employer organisations. The revised pay policy, if ratified, will apply to both the public and private sectors.
