asked the Minister for Health the stage plans are at now for the provision of a health centre at Portmarnock, County Dublin, and when it is envisaged that such a centre might be opened to the public.

25.

asked the Minister for Health in relation to the provision of health centres or the expansion of existing health centre facilities at Portmarnock and Malahide, County Dublin, if he will outline the present stage of developments and make a statement on the matter.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 24 and 25 together.

Proposals from the Eastern Health Board to provide new health centres in Malahide and Portmarnock, County Dublin, have been approved in principle by my Department. The board are at present negotiating the acquisition of sites for the new health centres.
