asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the pay increases, in addition to the national agreements 1978 and 1979, paid to the categories of forestry workers listed in a reply to a similar question of 15 May 1979 and the operative date.

Apart from the award of the Labour Court referred to in the reply dated 15 May 1979, there have been no increases in forest workers' basic pay other than those arising under national pay agreement.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the average bonus earnings in State forests for each month in 1979 in the form of a reply to a similar question of 15 May 1979.

The hourly average bonus earnings of forest workers at all State forests are as follows:

January 1979

25.92p per hour

February 1979

24.35p per hour

March 1979

26.57p per hour

April 1979

29.15p per hour

May 1979

30.00p per hour

June 1979

31.60p per hour

Bonus @ 100% was increased from 27.5p per hour to 30p on 1 March 1979 and to 32.5p on the 1 June 1979.
