asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reasons the morning delivery of post to Leinster House does not take place, as a rule, until 9.15 a.m. or later, with consequent further delay in sorting and internal distribution for Members and Office of the Oireachtas until 10 a.m. or later.

The post is at present due to be delivered at 9.0 a.m. when Leinster House staff attend to receive it. This time is normally adhered to, and, as far as is known, is satisfactory. If, however, a request for earlier delivery were made, my Department would consider it, in consultation with the Leinster House authorities.
