Vol. 317 No. 9

Written Answers. - Ballincollig (Cork) Postal Deliveries.

254.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his attention has been drawn to the very late delivery of post in the Ballincollig area, County Cork, and the action he proposes to take to rectify the matter.

Postal deliveries in the Ballincollig area have been running late because of extensive housing development there. The position was aggravated recently by staffing difficulties which have since been resolved. An additional postman post which is now warranted will be introduced shortly and this will considerably improve delivery times.
